Hi all...

Last night on NCIS, Gibbs whiipped out a big folder to use searching for a bomb in a car. Probably a 4" blade but with a prominent tiger stripe (up and down) on the blade. Anyone know what it might have been?

I need one!

Thanks

Did it look like the 2nd knife down in the pic?

Why oh why can't I find one for sale that doesn't cost an arm and a leg!? I'd love a 302 to go with my 301 and my 350
Love ZT :D

I didn't DVR 2012's last episode, so I cannot check.... but, I thought it was the OD one (301 below), not the sand one (302). In any case, he left it with the bomb...

If you want a great knife in 'sand', look for a ZT-0561 (Top, above) ~$260 new shipped. The blade is just as thick as the 0301 & 0551 and made of ElMax as opposed to S30V of the 0300/0301/0302.

Stainz

PS My 0301, a real moose of a knife, was my first ZT, followed by two 0551's (My favorite ZT!) and my 0561 (Almost my favorite!).

It's definetly the 302 desert sand handle zt. And the 0561 is actually called earth brown. Two way different shades, 0561 is much darker! I personally like 0301 better but thats just me! wish they would put that scale on a 056x!

He gave the 0302 to the guy trying to defuse the bomb. Can't wait till new season.

I guess tonight we'll see if the knife survived. That would be an awkward way to promote a knife...
"Zero Tolerance knives are so tough, they'll survive anything...even if you don't"
Can't wait for Season 10 tonight.

I saw a 301 in our local Gun Shop, it was $ 269.95. It really looked cool, so I checked it out. But unfortunately, it didn't feel as good to me as my Spyderco Manix XL. Also, I would have had to spend time sharpening it.

I really don't want to sharpen a $ 270 knife that stays in my drawer while I carry a $ 100 knife.

No offense to Zero Tolerance, but it just wasn't for me.

My 0300 came sharp and I have only have to hone it. I have not have to sharpen it. It may very well be that the one you saw was dull from some use. My 0300 is one awesom knife as is my 0200. They take an edge and hold an edge.
