Gidget the Taco Bell Chihuahua suffered a massive stroke Tuesday and had to be put down.

Taco Bell star dead at 15.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of this entertainment icon who broke long-standing barriers against cannine-Americans and united us as never before. We should all take the time and give our thanks to Gidget Thank you because you never stopped, thank you because you never gave up. Thank you because you never gave out, thank you because you tore down our divisions, thank you because you eradicated barriers, thank you because you gave us hope.

RIP Gidget. I liked those commercials.

My dog growing up was a Chihuahua/Beagle mix (80% Beagle Id say). Great dog.

At least she wasn't having inappropriate puppy sleepovers in her bed or dangling her own pup by the scruff of it's neck off the third story balcony of her posh Roverland doghouse......
