Hello Everyone!
This is a relatively simple full tang knife made from w2. The stats are:
blade = 5.125"
handle = 4.25"
textured beryllium copper.
It was made as a gift/trade for one of my oldest friends. He is a cowboy and a fireman, and I am sure the knife will see a ton of use.
This is just about my favorite style of knife to make, and I try to make one or two of these (or puukko) between the swords. The hamon is quite striking in person, even though I could have polished it more. Same theme - it is a user. That is why I textured the copper, too. I wanted it work hardened and to a point that scratched would not matter much.
