Hi there,

I want to buy my fiance his first multi-tool. I want him to be able to keep it on his keys if wants. Any suggestions?

Thanks for your help

Would he like scissors or pliers on the tool, as that would narrow down the list

Welcome to the forum :)

if it was for his keys this might not leave much alternatives - speaking of myself, i only wear a classic on my keys and a rekular sak in my left front pocket.

as the keys tend to scratch stuff i recommend an alox classic, little blade, nail file, screwdriver and scissors. if he wants to go for the max you can get him the swiss mini champ with a lot of tools.

other than that i recommend victorinox' swiss champ, cyber tool 41 or a little less heavy: handyman. but they are not to be attached to keys (too bulky).

maybe you'll get more specific help if you tell us more about the work he does (or should do :D ) with his tool.

If your fiance would like to have pliers in the tool then I would look at the Leatherman range.

Hope it helps

Tiffanys do a solid silver Swiss Army Classic. My wife bought me one!

I would go with the leatherman squirt. They come in a few diifferent colors and you can choose between the pliers or scissors.
