These prices are absolute steals! I can't believe a Manjushree for $175! I have one, and it's quite honestly the finest sword I have ever held and rivals many of the khuks that I've gotten from HI.

I'm saving my nickels and dimes for a 14" trisul that I'm sure might pop up one day, or I would be all over that R-8:)

DAMN. Those are all really nice. That tin chirra is calling me....

Email sent on the Manjushree Sword of Wisdom; I was tempted by that 20-in / 26-oz YCS, but I like the Manjushree just a little bit better.

I've purchased several khuks as well as a few swords now; I know that I'll probably never need to take advantage of it, but can someone help clarify exactly what the warranty covers? Here's what I think I know, and what I know that I don't know:
1) I think that Khukries are fully and unconditionally warranted for the original purchaser. Yangdu may or may not extend a warranty replacement to a secondary owner on a case-by-case basis, but unless you're the original purchaser, it's not guaranteed.
2) I think that Knives would be warranted as Khukries, although I don't know that.
3) I think that Swords (and the Kobra model) have some level of warranty, but I've also read postings that state chopping wood voids the warranty, so I don't know what level of use constitutes abuse -- I'd appreciate a reference and or clarification.

Thanks for any help figuring this out.
