Hi,

Me and some friends are buying someone a pocket knife as a special gift and we would like to engrave a few words on it. The idea is for each person to contribute the same ammount of money for it so that it comes equally from all of us, but the thing is that some people can't contribute much so we only have about $100 to spend. My first decision would be a baby sebenza, but its too expensive. Anything similar in appearance, or at least that sort of style knife would be great. Any recommendations on a classy kind of folder? Kershaw maybe?

Thanks

Take a look at Great Eastern Cutlery (GEC). They make small-run handbuilt knives in the $100 range, but they look like classic heirloom knives.

I'd vote for the GEC or the Buck, those are some of the coolest knives to recieve as gifts. You can't really go wrong with either.

they have titanium/S30V spyderco UKPKs on sale for about $100 after coupon on sierra trading post.

It is a little more than $100 but a Benchmade 940 would be a good pick. Also a Spyderco Delica FFG with maybe a blue handle. A Kershaw Leek or Blur with colored handle could do it for you. There are several to pick from but I really like the BM 940 the best. GOOD LUCK! Kevin :D
