I loaned a Waki to a friend a couple of weeks ago and he called me a week later and told me to come by he had something for me. I had no idea what it was so you can imagine how shocked I was when he handed me back my Waki wearing this awesome leather sheath he made for it. I was speechless which is pretty rare for me.

As if all the time he put into the sheath wasn't enough, he also made the two decorative rings from quarters he hammered out. One quarter is an Alabama (the state I was born), and the other one from Oregon (where I live now). Thanks again Chad!

Edited to add photo of blade as requested. Sorry for the low quality photos as I'm only working with one arm lately after shattering my collarbone and having surgery 3 weeks ago. This sheath has really helped me to help me keep my mind off of it.

Great looking work.. And sounds like a Great friend as well. I wouldn't mind seeing the Blade.

Absolutely amazing! It's beautiful. What a thoughtful idea on the state quarters as well. You have a very good friend there!

That's a really nice gesture!
And the sheath isn't half bad either ;)
The part underneath the mouth & belt loop is fixed, not a 'frog'?
