This year, the sons get knives.
My son is getting a Rough Rider small Canoe, when he proves himself trustworthy, I’ll get him a Case. My stepson is getting a Case full sized Trapper. My son in law is getting at Case Medium Stockman. And my Grandson is getting a Case Peanut.
It’s gonna be a great Christmas.

The blue Canoe and the yellow Baby Butterbean are mine.

My grandson is a Boy Scout or whatever they're called now, so I gave him a Case Boy Scout knife last year for his birthday. He loved it and hasn't had any issues, so I will probably give him my GEC 15 boy's knife in Gabon ebony this year for Christmas. My granddaughter is older and I gave her a Case pen knife last year. She's also been a responsible knife user, so I'll probably give her my GEC 48 in tiger eye acrylic this year for Christmas. She's into rock tumbling/polishing, so I think she will love it.

For the past several years, it has been knives, books, or both for my kids, grandson, and assorted others. Opinel, Mora, Okapi, Case, Rough Rider, Marttiini, Benchmade, Buck, Kershaw, Leatherman, SAK, Condor, Spyderco, MAM. There are still decisions, but it simplifies the shopping.
