I am going to post this before I do anything else.
For some reason that is not quite clear to me customers cum friends send me gifts, some of them most unusual. In the past couple of months here are a few I have received:
Screaming Eagle Ranger Patch worn by 1LT Ranger in Nam.
"This is the last thing I have from Nam. I wanted you to have it."
Two hand carved Buddhas and a hand carved bone flute which I cannot play. "I have been waiting to send these to their proper home."
Two SAKs, small Cold Steel and Spyderco knives.
Book: Book of the Sword by Burton.
Book: Nepal -- coffee table top version with beautiful pix. Amazingly in a picture of a group of Sherpa women Yangdu found an aunt and great aunt.
Software -- Photoshop. I have not learned to use it yet.
Police badges
Trinkets and clothing from Gurkha Museum in UK.
Rubber stamp with HI logo
Beer
And other stuff.
I have thanked everyone who sent gifts personally buy I wanted to do so publicly. All of these gifts are most appreciated and some even brought tears to my eyes. I feel that I do not deserve this much consideration for simply doing a job and trying to be who I am. My utmost gratitude to all.
