Hi there,
please forgive a newbie his stupid question:

I have come to own some Gil Hibben fantasy knives: Raptor, Warbird Dagger and Hornet, all of them have just been kept in a showcase for ten years or so and are practically like new.
Since I have no use for them, I'm thinking about putting them on an auction house, but I have no idea about their current value and I don't want to give them away for next to nothing.
What's the educated opinion of the experts around here?

Thanks for your help.

if they are the actual customs, then they are worth plenty. If they are the United Cutlery ones, I wouldn't count on it.

As far as I know they were imported from the US through Mailorder, so I'd guesstimate they are not handmade by the man himself.

I imagine you could make some coin off them on eBay. There are always people who want that kind of thing.

I have one that I bought in the late '90s from a fellow worker who was a United dealer. It was the first knife I really displayed since, hell, that's all it's good for. My buddies call it the 'Klingon Guttin' Blade!' It actually feels good in your hand.

Right.
A Star Trek fan told me that Raptor and Warbird were shown several times in the hands of Klingon warriors. They look savage and mean yet very stylish.
