I became attached to a Randall Gilbreath folder yesterday at the NCCA show because it kept staring at me(I hate when that happens):)

The piece is a clip blade folder with about 4" of sharpened edge, 4 1/2 from point to frame when open. Clip on the pivot end. Split frame lock, Ti construction.

I guess I have two questions. The first would be; What model is this?
The second question; Is the fact that this piece has no thong hole unusual? I've seen only the few pictures on the net and trying to remember from old mags but most ti folders he did seem to have a thong hole.

Thanks in advance for any info on model or rarity(no hole)

Cheers

Dang:confused: I'm bad with names and forgot to take a card. It was from the gentleman in the corner with the Bradleys and Randalls.

I enjoyed the show very much and should have spent more time talking to folks. I hadn't really planned on buying anything but had some cash just in case I stumbled onto something that caught my eye. That one did.

All my knives have been users at one time or another and this seems to be a good sturdy knife. Really nice edge on this. I'm almost afraid to put it into rotation but it will see service.

Thanks for the reply.
