Gillette copy, looks nice...

for that price I think you'd get what you'd pay for. from my research Gillette's first closed comb TTO (like that one) came out in 1940, not saying that seller isn't honest, but I really wonder.

I would like to buy one, it looks nice, but I would not know if it was good or bad. I thought maybe some of the experienced DE shaver guy's may have tried one and would know.
The Gillette's, when new, used to sell for $1.25, so thought the price would be about right, with inflation thrown in, LOL!!
I am still thinking about trying it. What would I need to look for to see if it is a good or bad razor?
I am still thinking about buying the Feather razor too.
I recently bought a Gillette Super Speed, but it is not here yet and I still have to get some blades. Are the blades something you can buy at Wal-Mart or a drug store or are the better blades something you have to get on line?
Thanks!!

It's good if it shaves good, if not, then it's bad. for 8 bucks might be worth trying out just for kicks and giggles. everyone has different tastes, and to be honest I can't recall someone talking about a "bad" razor, just that for one reason or another it wasn't to their liking. I buy most of my blades on-line, but you can find them in some stores, buy a pack and see if they work for you, everyone has different tastes!
