No, not some vintage thing found at an estate sale...

This image comes from THIS website which Mr. Jaymo suggested in THIS post. It's an Indian shaving supplies retail website called Maharaja Shave out of Mumbai, India.

The description reads
Product Information
Made by Gillette India, the 3-piece DE safety razor head is modeled on the later day vintage Gillette Tech Razors.
The long handle is made of hi quality plastic with aluminium neck to take the Nickel plated metal razor head.

Shave quality is gentle and smooth like the later day vintage Tech razor.

Razor head fits standard vintage Gillette 3-piece razor handles.

Presentation
Razor with 2 7 O'Clock Super Platinum blades

And it is offered for the princely sum of $2.19US.... plus, of course, shipping and handling.

They also offer this one:

So, apparently, Gillette hasn't given up on DEs entirely. They just don't sell them in the US because Americans will fork out for the multi-blade cartridges.

That first razor looks exactly like a budget DE razor sold at Boots Chemist in the UK. I bought a couple a few years back. There was no Gillette branding, IIRC. They're great for the price, but very light.

The 7 O'Clock blades are available from West Coast Shaving. I like them a lot!

Well, that web site is suspended already. I wish I could have grabbed one at that price. It would have been helpful for teaching the boys when they start shaving.

Although the link is dead, I think I saw these somewhere online and they looked to be basically just misrepresented packaging - the razor was not actually made by gilette but was called a "sterling" but the box said gilette all over it as the blades were genuine.
