My Mora companion heavy duty arrived today and I thought to myself, What a better way to get accustomed to my new mora than to cook some food.... So I decided to go with an asian twist I suppose. One red onion, 4 cloves of garlic. MMM garlic n onions. 2 carrots chopped up into thin slices (the heavy duty mora was adequate but not the best for this). I also added 2 potatoes (mora cuts potatoes pretty nicely). Add some mini red, yellow, and orange bell peppers... My Girlfriend was going to have some so I had to sub some jalapenos for a single Anaheim chili. 4 big fat white mushrooms.... Some fresh ginger (the mora was awesome at cutting ginger). Then I added 2 chicken breasts. OOOO man This blade slices through meat like no other... I simmered it with some sho chiku bai sake... (the sake was awesome because you can drink it too!!!!) Squeeze a couple of key limes into it... Add one tomato (Moras slice tomatoes like there is no tomorrow)... Add some sea salt and some crushed pepper.... Drink more sake... Then throw in some fresh basil and cliantro!!!! Yummmm!!!!! Drink more sake.... Back pain is gone now!(I must have slept wrong or something because I woke up with a pinched nerve). Time to put it in a bowl with some sriracha sauce! Delicious!!!! Girlfriend is happy and I am full! First experience with a mora is a success!!! Now I have to wait for my classic no. 1 to come in the mail. Perhaps next time I shall make something equally exciting. Peace Out forum people, time to take a nap!
