An oldy but a goody, came into my hands for a week and I liked it!
This is a Gerber model C300B, I've heard that it has M2 steel for a blade and hidden tang handle is very comfortable, more of an oval shape on the handle, nicely fits no matter what grip you place on it and the guard is just enough to prevent you from venturing into parts that are sharp. Notice that there isn't a notch before the blade starts, nothing to catch on the material you are cutting. Now I've also heard tell that AlMar once worked for Gerber and this knives feels like he hand a hand in it's creation.
Blade is about 3", overall is about 7 1/2", thin blade flat ground to the back, very handy knife!
I'll miss this one when she leaves tomorrow...
Enjoy the basic guys/gals!
