The above thread says the following:

Jerry Busse said:
It’s a new day at Busse Combat my friends. We have made enormous changes designed to serve you better and offer you many more options when choosing your Busse knife. The new line is very exciting and the designs are extremely cool! We will be doing things quite differently and here are just a few of the highlights.

Sheaths are no longer included with and therefore are not added to the price of the knife. We are doing this to better serve you. Now, instead of having to pay for a sheath you do not want, you will be able to choose from a wide variety of sheathing options and can have your sheath customized to your liking.

There will be three types of sheaths available, including Cordura, Kydex, and Leather. We have the top sheath makers in the world participating in this venture including, Dwayne Puckett (Armoralleather), Mike Bartol (Mt. Mike’s), and Kenny Rowe with various styles and options in leather. Eric Noeldechen (On Scene Tactical), Brian Wagner (Okuden), and Dave Brown (Buy Brown). In cordura we feature the awesome designs of Dan Hirayama (Semper Paratus).

In regards to shipping, Busse Combat has now turned the corner on missed or delayed delivery dates with this new production protocol and we are delivering all standard model offerings within the quoted delivery time periods.

Knife finish and handle options will be numerous. Blade finishes may include Three different Camo Combos (Urban, Desert, and Jungle), Satin, Double Cut, Tan, and Black. Handle options will likewise vary from model to model.

We are also considering a serial numbered, Limited Edition version of each model on its first run.

The production schedule is slated at 1 or 2 models per offer period. Those models will ONLY be available during the time period that they are offered and will not be offered again for approx. 3 years. For example, the Force One and the Nuclear Air Rescue Knife (NARK) were offered during the month of August, 2004. They will not be available again for approximately 3 years or until August, 2007. Likewise, the options available the next time around may be very different from those available the first time. This approximate 36 month stretch between batch runs, should make reselling your Busses very easy during the interim.

Here' are some of the models that you will see over the course of the next 3 years. They are in no particular order.

- SF Natural Outlaw
- Active Duty
- Force One
- Air Rescue TAC
- Meaner Street
- Leaner Meaner Street
- SF Recurved Fighter (Not Yet Named)
- Tank Buster
- Game Warden
- Fusion Steel Heart
- Tanto TAC (Not Yet Named)
- Satin Jack TAC
- Paul's Hatchet TAC
- Prototype Groved Fighter (Hell Razor)
- Badger Attack TAC
- Fusion Battle Mistress
- Public Defender TAC
- Proto SF Recurve ( Not Yet Named)
- Assault Shaker

In looking at the list and recalling what Jerry debuted at Blade that year, the proto grooved fighter that had not yet been named is the Hell Razor. It was the only model debuted with a "blood groove" or more correctly fuller.

I'm guessing it was the ST-56, as it along with the Mud Razor were military overruns (if I remember correctly).

No, it was closer to the SOW, but not exactly. I have a pic somewhere, but I am sure someone will find theirs before I find mine. Oh Porkerson!

If you look at the blade on the proto SF recurve picture from Blade '03, we may have actually seen this but without the SF handle and that would be the Ripper. Just a thought though...it may still be coming.

You mean the one on the left?
