I was looking for another knife-thingy-or-other about a week ago when I happened across THE GO GINSU.COM WEBSITE!!
Damn! They still make these things?
(I said to myself out loud.)
It was as though I had pulled a coelacanth out of Buckeye Lake!
And they were ON SALE! I found a nice large gold "titanium" one with
GINSU in black lettering on the blade.
I HAD TO HAVE IT. I ordered it right there, without hesitation. Hey, would you throw a coelacanth back into the water?
Today, it arrived. I opened the package, and was profoundly disappointed. You see, the knife that I had planned to make
THE CENTERPIECE OF MY COLLECTION
didn't have the black GINSU I had ordered on the blade. It was just engraved into the gold metal. Barely visible.
(I am now seriously reconsidering my plan to have a BladeRigger custom carry system made for it.)
So you are all forewarned...
