Giraffe bone clip point

Heres some giraffe bone I picked up. The knife maker told me the color didn't follow through only superficial. He was right, but none the less I like It. tell me what you guys think..:thumbup::thumbdn:
This is CPM 154 1/8"
7.25" overall
3.25" blade machine satin finish
giraffe bone with stainless pins
some file work and a small thumb ramp

It's hard to tell the color of the scales from the pics -- it just looks kinda blue...

But oh man, that is a FINE looking blade. Very Nice!
 
I finally finished the sheath for this guy. Problem is I like grinding so much some of these get put on back burner if its not sold. So without further procrastination( hold on the fish is beeping). Ahh nothing like cod from cape cod. oh yeah the pics..
 
That's a beautiful knife -- it's easier to see the color of the scales in these more recent pics. I do like it!

Bill, giraffe bone has advantages and disadvantages, depending on what you are comparing it to. Are you thinking about other natural scales, or something like micarta?

Man, it's some pretty stuff though...
