I just received this Case Sodbuster Jr from S stanandlaurie . Laurie mentioned in her post how her late husband used to love messing with his knives. I can imagine him snapping them closed to his hearts delight. It reminds me of someone I know :D. It probably describes many of us here on the porch.

This Sodbuster Jr is a great way for a young man or woman to get into this hobby of ours.

Rules:
1. CONUS only - for ease of shipping. Apologies to international members
2. Must be a young man or woman.
3. Must give to a young man or woman. Nephew, niece, son, daughter that loves to fish, etc. If you know someone, don't be shy and enter.

I will pick the winner randomly on Saturday evening.

I am not entering, I just wanted to say thank you for what youre doing. This will make some lucky kid very happy Im sure. Im very sorry for your loss Laurie.
Also, what a great knife for a kid to get! Just the right size for little hands and pockets, stainless so that it wont get rusty, simple, single bladed and pinchable to open, looks great and it isnt "scary", a great pocketknife that a kid can grow into and not out of. I would loved one of these as a kid. :thumbsup:

Either Frankie (9) or Ruben (13)would love to get it. I wouldn’t know how to choose between them, so I might have to pick a knife for the other. Sorry for your loss, Laurie, and thanks for thinking of the youngsters.
 
I didn't know him, but my prayers go out to the family he left behind.

In for my son. He has a b-day next month and is very interested in Daddy's knives. 😁❤️

Not an entry. Awesome sentiment and GAW. Thanks for the generosity. My boy ain’t old enough. And he is eyeing cases Caribbean blue knives at Ace anyways... I think a blue bone trapper or stockman is in his future.
 
Touching GAW! I am in CRK my 14 year old daughter. She swiped my opinel a couple years ago and loves it. I think an SBJ would bring her joy.

Please add an entry for me. I have two young ones who are avid fishermen. We just ordered some knife blanks and scales to start building our own Kephart's but a folder would greatly please one of them. At 8 years old my daughter practiced casting for 8 hours straight in Alaska in-spite of the cold water and not catching anything. I'm quite proud of these two.
