Just got off the phone with Steven at KAI and have to say they really have a life long customer after that experience.

I sent in my 610ST Auto Tanto for evaluation to be repaired, but it is to worn to be fixed. They said they would give me $200 credit towards a new knife and I was expecting to have to pull out my credit card to pay for the overage on the new 770 I would replace it with. Nope, just shipping out the new knife now extra charges.

Thanks to them, I will still have all my parts intact, the 610 lock would release itself in my pocket and that was threatening to make me a unic. The 770 should be a welcome EDC addition, and as I said they have a customer for life with that kind of service.

Initial contact till now, 4 business days...two days really since it took a couple to ship to them.
