Ran a little giveaway and picked a winner the member who won hasn't gotten back to me and it's been 2 days. I emailed sent them a visitor message and a private message .Checked they have been online was going to wait until tomorrow than choose another winner. I know it's my giveaway and I can do whatever I want but wanted to see what you guys think. Should I give them more time? What do you think?

If you have made reasonable attempts to contact the winner, and have been unsuccessful, you should pick another name if that is what you think you should do.

Legion, I don't think you're on right now, but the winner is. For some reason I thought you said that you were picking the winner this Friday.

It may be that he surfs on his phone and doesn't get notifications for pm's live. I have missed a couple for a few days because of this.

Anyway, I agree with the others, however, I'd hate to see someone heart broken because they weren't fast enough on the draw.

Whatever you choose, thanks again for the giveaway. It was fun posting in the thread. :)
 
Your right I did say Friday hadn't seen any new entries for a couple of days so I picked a winner I'll give the winner until Monday then if still nothing then I will try again. Definitely don't want anybody to be disappointed. Thanks guys

It's always frustrating when this kind of thing happens, but I agree with the others Legion. I'm sure everybody knows you'll do the right thing :thumbup:
 
I would personally give it a couple of days.... No rush when the knife is free.

Glad it all worked out!

You might want to go back and update the original GAW thread. You locked it and the last post was you were waiting until Monday and then were going to redraw for a winner. I had been checking the thread for an update and wouldn't have known you made contact with the original winner if I hadn't seen this thread here in tech support.

Thanks again for your generosity and doing the GAW!
