I was trying to sell it, but screw it, tis the season for sharing. It is yours for free!

There is no sheath, just knife. Bought it last year brand new and it has never left my desk. It is yours to come pick up from me in providence RI any time, sorry, but no shipping. Must have >100 posts and not be a fly by nighter just here for a free knife, i would like to give it away to a real member of the community who really needs a new fixed blade and who will beat the heck out of it like it deserves. If you want, maybe you will give something away to someone as well, but it is not required.

If this is in the wrong forum i apologize.

Does living 5 minutes from Providence myself give me an unfair advantage in this giveaway? I'm in Smithfield, nice to see another knife nut so close by!

I would love a 3V knife to use as part of my firefighter turnout gear. 3V seems like perfect steel!

OOPS...no shipping? lol. Even if I pay?

I wish i could ship but i usually work 9-5, 6 days a week and its super hard for me to get to the post office, although a firefighter would be a good person to rock this knife...

Why would that be unfair? If you want it you can come grab it tomorrow :) shoot me a PM if you want it. Ill be by exit 7 off 95 mountain biking tomorrow if you want to meet near there since thats probably closer to you

That's really nice of you to give this knife away. I have the 4 1/2" blade version and it is one heck of a good knife.

Great giveaway! I am relatively new here...the amount of generosity of this community is astounding!!!

well I wish I could somehow pay for shipping but since not I guess good luck to others, this thing would be useful as hell on my sheriff duty belt

Someone will be getting a great knife. I have two Kosters in 3V. He does it very good. Tough, nice wear resistance and takes a nice biting sharp edge.

PepeMrtnz, good on ya!

:)

That is the coolest thing ever.
You've inspired me to do the same with one of my unused knives.
Rock on!
Lenny

Thanks! I have 4 other koster knives right now with more on order, so just sharing the 3v love and getting rid of things I just dont use. Koster is my favorite fixed blade maker by far. I just love 3v for all around outdoor use

I can attest that this is a fantastic design. The handle shape is simply fantastic.

I tested two of the prototypes (though they were not 3v).

Agreed it is a great design. It will be heading to a fireman in NYC to get a real workout :)
