I've decided to start a new tradition for myself.
I like to stick with the same EDC folder for a while instead of rotating them. I'll carry the same one in my pocket every single day until I want to change to something else. When I get done with one, it never goes in the pocket again. Usually I would just strap it to a pack or camping gear or something. Well, all of my packs have folders hooked on them and I have folders stashed all over the house. I don't need to save anymore of them. Since I never spend too much on them, I've decided that every time it's time to change up, I'm just going to have a giveaway and let another RAT Pack member have it. The only catch is, they actually have to use it. If you get it and you don't like it, pass it on to someone else.
Here's the first one. I got this from Dan Koster about two months ago and it has ridden in the pocket every day since. It took me a minute to get used to the grip on it, but eventually it grew on me. It's a partially serrated Kershaw Junkyard Dog. Pretty nice little knife. Here are a couple of pictures of it.
All you have to do is post "I'll use it!" and your RP number. I'll let this run until Tuesday, October 13th.
