If someone has the skills and tools to fix more of them up to giveaway here I may consider that, otherwise I think it will be one per person.


I just got the scales in from BELLABLADES previous contest. I picked out two of them and I am going to give the rest away.
Please tell me which one you want #1-7 (and describe it just to be clear) and give your email address. The scales are free, but you will need to pay shipping.
Please keep in mind these did NOT make it through BellaBlades QC and are NOT for resale.

I occasionally make a mistake here and there when I make handle for you guys.
They get thrown into a bin and I make a new one if it does not pass QC for whatever reason.
-Cracked or damaged material
-Eaten up from having the router set a bit too high when working various materials at the same time
- Counterbore or countersunk to deep
So on and so forth.

Below are all of them.
- 0561 in a few different material
- 0550 Turotuf, glow in the dark x2
- Emerson CQC 11 slab
- CRKT apache in G10

I think all of these can be fixed and used with some super glue/ epoxy and some finish tools to complete them.
These are not for re sale, but I would love for somebody to finish them all up and give them away for free and keep the ones that you need. All I ask is that you pay shipping.

FYI
#2 - The line at the bottom is not a crack. The scale is slightly thinner near the bottom.
#3 - The circle near the middle of the scale is just a reflection.

Thank you for the scales. I hope he likes the Sage scale. That kirinite is an eye catcher.

Finally got a dremel and got these scales finished. Not a great job but good enough for me. They look great. Thanks again Josh and BellaBlades for the scale!!!!!!!

If the moonglow/translucent 0561 scale is still available I would definitely like to try it out.
 
If you have a glow scale left for a 0550, or 0560, I'd be happy to give one a try. PM on it's way.
 
ULF , great job bro.
It is really cool seeing the final product and it actually being used.
That means alot. If you ever have time just add some gray epoxy where that small piece is missing with some sort of jig and sand it down the next day, you might not even notice it is there.

Hopefully somebody gets time to work the glow handles out too!

I'm down for one for the 0561. I'd prefer the Black/Red, but either will do. Thanks for the GAW
 
I received a few emails about the scales, and I guess the list I posted wasn't clear enough. My bad. Also, since it was asked in my knife GAW thread, "contributing" does not mean paying member. By contributing I mean you try to help others and contribute to threads with posts of substance.

If you have a grand total of 3 posts, all of which are "I'm in" on giveaway threads, that is not contributing. And yes, that happened.:rolleyes:

I may not be on BF as much in the next few days (studying), so after you post your request in the thread please send an email too.

I created a complete, more detailed list so you know exactly what scales are in the picture and which are still available. Here it is.
