Hey guys,

GIVEAWAY IS OVER, WINNER HAS BEEN PICKED. THANKS ALL WHO PARTICIPATED!

Just realized that I just passed my five year mark of joining Bladeforums. I came here knowing nothing and now I know only slightly more!

I've made some good online friends, ticked a few people off, and generally had a great time. No regrets!

Just a little baby giveaway here but I'd like to offer you all a chance at one of my favorite knives;

The Mora Stainless Steel Companion:

No, it isn't a super expensive knife but as most guys can tell you the Moras mora (get it) than pay for themselves. They are great quality blades, especially at their ridiculously low price point.

I will send the winner one of these blades, brand new in packaging, in their choice of color (you can see all the color options here: http://www.amazon.com/Morakniv-Comp...6911&sr=8-1&keywords=mora+stainless+companion)

To enter all you need to do is post that you are in, what your favorite Busse, Swamp Rat, or Scrapyard knife is and why, and have been a member of Bladeforums for at least one month *or* be a paying member (even if you just joined yesterday). Pics are awesome too but not necessary.

The giveaway will run until 2/17/15 at approximately 1300hrs (so roughly 72 hours from now) at which point in time I will use a random number generator and coorelate it with the post number and whoever has that post number will win.

Contest is limited to the US only please as I'd prefer not to pay more in shipping than the knife is even worth.

Please only enter once. Double posts will be grounds for disqualification.

Thanks and good luck!

Well good sir --- congrats on five years in this amazing community. Hats off to you for giving anything away, let alone a great knife.

My favorite Busse knife has to be the HHFSH -- it's possibly the best do it all knife I've ever handled. Although I am also in love with my ASHBM (which for whatever reason has been generally slow to be embraced by all). The NMFBM still casts a shadow on all other Battle Mistresses (maybe for good reason). Anyway, I digress ----

Congrats on 5 years. I'm a lot newer than that, but I am a paying member. My first Busse Knife was a TGLB a few months ago, but my favorite Busse knife is my new TG Crusader that I was lucky enough to score and just received a few days ago. :D

And thank you for the contest and the opportunity.

Congrats! Amazing how much one can learn here in a short amount of time. I will defer to someone else who needs that knife more than I do. Have been on here about 18 months now, and my blade acquisition rate is around three per month. Mainly B'kins but also the occasional Becker; Winkler; and Murray Carter.

My current favorite(s)? C Res... Battle Rat, and Dogfather LE. DSF's; and always - the ASH1.

Cheers...;-)

I'm in please. My favorite Busse and kin is the AMSMO. I like the size and the look of the knife. It can baton smaller wood, be used for cooking and could probably cut through anything! Thanks for the opportunity.

Congrats on the five, and thanks for the opportunity. Really difficult to name a favorite, but I really like my Battle Pappy!

I'm in and my absolute favorite busse is the FFBM, probably the best looking knife ever, I have never held one but I made a knife to look similar to it.

Congrats on the mile stone.

Favorite would be a really tough task. I have held some fantastic Busse, and likely would pick a snakeskin/satin Moab, or one of the snake skin satin AK's I have handled, or maybe one of the Snakeskin custom AD's (snakeskin off duty was real nice). Or maybe one of the Satin Nuked AA's (which I have not held).

But out of the knives I have owned, the one I miss the most was a customized FBMLE (hand shaped tigerhide, clip, and edge done by Siegle).

It was my first too, so it was special.

I have owned a small number (13 if I remember correctly). I am down to a KzII, and a Rattlehawk now.

I sold most off, and had to pay an unexpected tax bill!

Oh, and I am in, I have always wanted to try a Mora.

Congrats on the milestone man, and thanks for the GAW.

My favorite knife is NMFBM, just amazing performer.

I'm in! Thanks for the generosity!...I'm kinda ashamed to admit it, but I've never owned a Mora. Always meant to pick one up, just never have.

Although difficult to pick a favorite, I feel like the Boss Jack is an awesome "if I could only have one" type knife. It's just that one knife I think of as a general, all-around, easy to carry, not small but not big, and can do most things well knife (with the exception of chopping).

And since I said Boss Jack, here are my 2 satin-blade, fancy-handle babies. (I have a CG for my everyday user)

I'm in! My favorite Busse is my HG-55 LE with tigerhide scales. Why is it my favorite? It was my first Busse, it is hair popping sharp, the size is just right for most of my needs. And it is # 55 which I think is cool because it is an HG-55

Thanks for the chance to win!

I'm in. Thanks for the opportunity.

I have to agree with the Boss Jack post above. Its certainly my current favorite. Hopefully I'll be able to handle a few more BUSSE and KIN blades.

I do own a Basic11 that I can see doing it all. I also have a SYKCO7 that sits in my vehicle at all times. I also edc a modded skeleton warden with jade (?) G10.

Thanks again.

PS. Nice shot by the way. I can appreciate a "right behind the front legs" bullseye. That's how I was taught to put em down.

I'm in. Thank you for the opportunity. Very cool of you to do. My favorite is the TGLB. Just a great combination. I like it because it's big enough to chop with but not so big that its cumbersome for regular knife stuff, and its just a darn good looking knife. I like coming here because (unlike at my own house) its a place where people don't think you're totally out of your mind for spending $300+ on a knife. Lol!

I'm in. I greatly prefer the Muck due to the superior blade geometry for dressing game, with the deep belly ahead of the hand. I don't find this to be a popular choice, but I don't process wood for fun--just kill and eat.

I'm in thank you very much! I think my favorite Busse would be the ASH -1. I really can't explain why, but I just like the looks and size of it. I don't have one yet but some day, some day...

In please.
I love the AMS. It's the perfect all around knife for me.
Thank you.
