OK- This has been a few years in the making..Have only been on BFC occasionally when I get a spare moment to think about it between some of my other hobbies (beer making, gun stuff and college).

Anyway- Here are the details


Since I have gotten into making beer in the last several years, I thought it would be kinda fun to post a pic of your CRK with your favorite beer...Especially Micros! Post in a glass, bottle or whatever.

Get creative as you wish..It does help. My job requires creativity of me...So I am used to it.. Let's see what you can do.
There is another way to get points..Post up your CRK Umnumzaan with the older pivot! Sorry guys..Even though I have made tools for this style of pivot, this isn't the reason why I like the older Umnumzaans..It has more to do with aesthetics for me. The classic pivot that started it all.

Around December of 2013, I made several beer bottle openers from Titanium..Mostly for friends and family as a fun thing to share since I have the tools and the skills and beer. Good news, depending on your views..I still have a few of the bottle openers left. Believe me..They work well!

So, a Titanium bottle opener...There is a bonus though.
Post a pic of a CLASSIC Umnumzaan with older pivot and beer of your choosing and if you are drawn, I will include a pivot tool for the CLASSIC 'Zaan!

So- To update- Sebenza owners- You get a titanium hex tool screwdriver type thingy as well as a titanium bottle opener if your name is drawn...Win win!
I guess this might change the rules a bit since some people have posted pics with 'benzas and 'zaans or both. Technically, I don't know of a way to limit the types of posts you make, so I guess if you have both tools and post 2 pics, then it's two entries, but only one option and I will pick according to the entry that is drawn. For example, it will go by post count. If that post has a pic of a Zaan, then you get the Zaan tool and the bottle opener. The inverse is true as well.

Without too much dialogue, let's keep some honor and NOT post more than 1 entry per knife. 1 Zaan and 1 Seb. Anymore entries and it will be as if none were posted.


I will close this in two weeks..So, let's say March 21st by 5:00pm MST. The picks are going to be random..From a salad bowl as classy as that may sound. Conditions being met, you may get the opener or the opener plus the tool.

Also decided to open this up wherever CRK fans may live. It may arrive by slow boat, but it will get mailed

Great idea and generosity. I'm obviously not drinking it right now but this is one of my recent favorites...

Is this limited to one entry? Because I am prone to taking pictures of my beer with my knives. My two hobbies.

Craft Beer: it's not alcoholism, it's a hobby.

So far...The beers look tasty..Can't say too much about the knives that hasn't already been said.

Wifes beer, we love to try new brews together. We would enjoy an opener. Ours sucks.

Nice giving back action! I'll likely post in here next week when my 1st classic Umnumzaan arrives.

In the meantime, I'll sample various brews so as to be informed & prepared.

Appreciate the posts so far...Some new brews to try. I have to admit...Some of them, I will likely not be able to sample unless I get on a plane.

Thanks guys! Not sure why there are not more entries yet..Maybe alot of people like beer with twist-offs or cans or simply don't drink beer?

I'm going to open this up a bit just in case anyone with a seb feels a little left out on the prize options available.
I have made 2-3 titanium tools that are more like precision screwdrivers than anything else. One for DaveH and I think one for the Sebenza passaround for the previous tool I donated (flattered that someone liked the tool enuff to keep it) Anyway, I digress; I will make one of these tools for a sebenza entry with the favorite beer, whatever it may be. I would include the wine and liquor drinkers..But I cannot think of how these gifts would help? Thoughts?
