...and I have already made my decision, but as a hypothetical:

Would you rather buy a large Sebenza Limited Edition wood with a regular blade, or a Damascus bladed large Sebenza wood inlay?

I chose the Damascus blade, wood inlay from a reseller because the customer service lady at CRK said that they wouldn't have any Damascus for their production knives for another 6-8 months. Didn't know if that was old news or not.

I'd rather have damascus. Cuts just fine, and adds to the aesthetics and the "wow, what's that?" factor.

Depends on how much you're going to use it. I'd go with S30V for a real user.
