I am giving away 7 knives at once...

No, I`m not crazy, nor have I lost interest in knives. I just want to give back to this awesome community from whom I have learned so much. I don`t post much anymore, but I do read here every day. I`m not much of a talker (writer), and I apologize that the knives are not all new or unused but I want to enrich some of you with knives you`ve never had before, or always wanted to take a look at, or some are just going to be given away to other people.

The rules are simple: There aren`t any. I will use random.org. One knife for one person.

What I would like however are pictures of knives or stories, or whatever you like, show me you motorcycle or classic car, the view from your front porch or just take a picture out of your window. This is not a requirement but gives us all a small look into the life of some of you.

So without further ado:

Number 1

A Utica Kutmaster Muskrat ca. 1950s
I got this form the auction house but never got to use it. It`s almost unused I only cut a clove of garlic with it and found out this one isn`t for me. It needs some lovin but is definately usable.

Number 2

A japanese made Higo-No-Kami friction folder. Folded over brass and definately a cool knife if you want to try out a friction folder. Very slim and easy to pocket. Blue steel I think is the steel type.

Number 3

A Rough Rider smooth tobacco Congress. I`ve always wanted to try out the congress pattern, but the RR isn`t what I`m looking for. For me the Congress knife pattern is a knife of ecxess, so maybe a higher end GEC will do next time.

Number 4

A Schrade Taylor Sharpfinger
Very cool fixed blade and I`m sorry it`s the post 2004 version made in China but a good allround small fixed blade. I like this one a lot.

Number 5

A Kershaw Wild Turkey. This is an amazing knife. It is so smooth it just glides out, very pocketable and easy to carry, very beautiful to look at. Definately the highlight of this giveaway. I won this some time ago from our very own fes`.

Number 6

A carbon steel Mora Craftsline. I bought this as a back up, and have no use for it anymore.

Number 7

And the one I`ll miss the most, my long time EDC a Opinel No 7. I`d like whoever wins this to take good care of her and use her well. This one has been carried and used for a long time by me and she`s served me well.

So that`s it for now. I`ll let this one run until Saturday evening the 8th. That will give me time to get them all ready to ship out on monday. I`m looking forward to all your replies, and hope a lot of people will participate.

Please remember it`s not about the value or the what knife is better, it`s about giving back to you guys.

I would love to be considered for this.

I'm at work and can't currently post pictures, but my new Northwoods #54 Forest Jack is sitting opened on a stack of invoices on my desk. Sometimes I can't help but take it out and admire it. That's all for me, I need more coffee!

Thanks for the opportunity!

Once upon a time Boba Fett ransacked my workshop and managed to steal my TC Barlow 2 blade spearpoint jack in antique yellow bone. It was a tragedy because the TC Barlow is without a doubt one of my favorite knives. Luckily, my guard-ladybugs were on duty. One of the the ladybugs managed to disable Boba's main helmut sensors temporarily blinding him, and allowing me the opportunity to retrieve my TC Barlow. I was able to escape just in the nick of time before Boba regained control of his targeting device and vision. I have not been back to my workshop out of my fear of the Fett. The end.

Thanks for the great give away! I definitely have my eyes on that nicely patina'd and used opinel no.7, Mora Craftsline, and even that nice looking Kershaw Wild Turkey!

Thanks again for the opportunity to own of these beauties!

I have not figured out how to post pictures, but
I would love the chance at any of these, especially the congress.
I have a 2007 Ford Mustang; I know, it is not a classic by any means, but
by the time I am older, it will. I know it is not special, but it
is my first car, so it is special to me.

Anyway, thanks for the entry.

What a great place this is I'm in quick picture just took the anti geese owl is not putting up with the man anymore. Thanks for the chance.

I'm in for a chance. Here is a pic of my morning routine at work. An apple cut with whatever knife I happen to be carrying.

I'd love to win one of your pre-owned knives. Here is a picture of an experiment performed with an apple and my CV sway back jack. All in the pursuit of knowledge.

Wow, what a great giveaway!

I'm in and thank you so much for your generosity and giving back to the community.

Really great of you to do and thank you!

My oldest knife, a 1950's era Imperial key chain knife given to me by my wife, that was given to her by an Aunt 30+ years ago.

Found this Devil's Stinkhorn on a morning hike with my son earlier today. They are not Native to my area but their spores hitch a ride on mulch from the Midwest. In Central Europe, they are fed to livestock to encourage them to breed. They attract bugs with their stink but I don't find them malodorous. And they are ephemeral, they only seem to last a day or so.

I had a Kershaw Wild Turkey (different handle material) many years ago when I was in the USAF (I'm now retired after 25 years service) and it was one of my favorite knives. I lost it while deployed to Germany. I would sure like to have that beauty in my pocket.

Very generous of you.

My wife calls this orange Inox #7 my "cuttin knife" because I use it so often at home. Picnic duty too. Thanks for the chance. Those are all nice knives you are giving away.

Can't do pix, but I do rotate trads. Mostly scout patterns. I do have others too. Thanks for the chance.

I'm in. This is very generous of you.
Lately, I've been really appreciating the well worn pocketknives:
