I wanted to make sure I'll get a Buck for christmas..So I bought it myself! Yep, tiss the season for giving a nice Buck to your loved ones!! I started a new tradition at my house last year by giving matching 192's to my son,son-inlaw,and father-inlaw. This year it's the 119 with the cow bone and stacked leather. I cant think of a finer gift.. If Kathy would let me ALL, and I do mean ALL, my loved one;s would be getting a new Buck!!! So... Who is giving and who is getting a Buck at your house ????
 
I wanted to give the pink handled 525 to my li'l daughter. But the delivery from Bass Pro does nearly the same they ask for two of the knives. So I stopped the order :-((.

I bought ten Bucks during the year, but no holiday tins means no Bucks at Christmas on my list....

I've been doing mods for Christmas presents:
Father-In-Law: Desert Ironwood 112
Wifes Uncle, FIL's Brother: KOA 110
OSU fan Brother-In-Law: Buckeye 112

These two I still have to do but I've commited (made the wife happy):eek:
Wifes Uncle, MIL's Brother: Nascar LE 110 I may only rehab this one as the ebony is good and i don't want to take off the Nascar embossing with a soak.
Wifes Uncle, MIL's BIL: KOA 110

Nevermind no shop!!! Get yourself a defibrillator!!! If you can't afford one, I can make one up for you out of my toaster... :p

Rumor has it that I have a fg 112 somewhere in the house (I never have had a 112 or 55!). The 850 Bravo-turkey was to be a Christmas goodie, but at present, it's more of a lump of coal for something dastardly I've done this year. I am considering another Kershaw, if I can get Mrs. Santa's attention. The moola tree died, so there will more likely be nothing new. Of course, the good news - I have a bunch of super Bucks to play with... Life is good!

PS Trying to decide what to give my older son... he is really not a 110 guy - guess I'll have to keep that new spare BCCI BG-42/G10/Mic/NS 110 I bought... darn!
 
I will get 55's for sons, one for daughter (not sure yet). I hope to see a Alpha Dorado Bone & Green Malachite and maybe a Alpha Dorado with ram's horn scales.
 
Seems like every year I give someone a 110, but no one returns the favor :D Hopefully this will be the year haha.
 
Well, I hit the Buck store last week so am set for myself. I've given all my son's and wife 110's and a 112 so all I'm doing is buying for myself. I'm the one that appreciates them and I know what I want.

The gun show is this weekend and am on the hunt.

As an old, retired, street medic, I love that "homemade" defibrilator idea. I don't know what would make my heart go pitty pat right now. I may have to wait until the after Christmas sales and see what's out there. Just thinking aobut that defib idea and ya know, grab the spark plug on your snow blower would do about the same thing... :rolleyes:

When I was in my early teens, my dad and I build an 8' hydroplane (plans from Popular Mechanix)...I had a 10hp Johnson motor on it...In sharp turns, the motor would torque itself right off the transom...I had steel steering wheel cables on it, so I never lost it...But it had to be paddled to shore and dried off...and the cylinders cleared of water..."Hey, Kenny - hold that wire away from the hole, will ya???"...[Yank!]...Worked every time... :D

Nice hot spark, too... :p
 
I'm getting a 119 for Christams from a fellow forum member :)
Also I might get me a 112...Who knows :D
 
Santa made an early stop by here yesterday and left these. Actually, he left two each of the 111's. He said he'll be back today or tomorrow with my new 309, 704, custom shop 295 and the Sambar stag 503.

That may be it for the Xmas Bucks this year. No one ever gets me anything like that for Xmas, so I have to do it myself.:D

Too funny... finally, an affordable defib... if you survive the electrocution, ya might make it :eek::eek::D
 
I gave myself 2 CS 112's....There a FINE present!! One is Koa, the other is that black bufflo horn...They will be shipped in 2-3 days,but not opened till Christmas.
 
Well,it looks like thanks to Armand [Its too early] There will be one more 112 under the ol tree! A cleare handled custom! Christmas and Bucks.....Perfect!!!!!!!!!!!11
 
Friday I am going to hit the pawn shops around Ft. Lewis and look for Bucks. The gun show was a bust... too pricey. I want something really unusual to buy myself for Christmas.
