Hey I know it's a good knife I just got off to a bit of a start with it. I took it back because the liner lock wouldn't hold the blade locked properly. That was
months ago and I ended up buying a different knife.
Today I'm heading into Vancouver and picking a new one up as well as a
OD-1. I quite like the looks of that particular blade as well.
Two really nice looking knives from Kershaw.

Two of my favorite Kershaw's as well. Sorry to hear about your problem with the first Skyline but I've had mine for ~6 months. Use it on and off for EDC and not problems with lockup.

There easy to get at Walmart and the price is right.

i agree with vinny
mine has been no problem at all in the 4 months ive had mine..
pretty good blade for the price

Out of the knives in my EDC rotation which includes the Spyderco Tenacious, Buck Vantage Pro, Spyderco Native, Kershaw OD-1, black Kershaw Leek, SOG Twitch II and Benchmade Mini Griptilian, the Skyline gets the most pocket time by a landslide. I carry it about 75% of the time now. The Vantage Pro gave it a run for the money a few months ago as did the Tenacious but the Skyline is back on top now.

I didn't have the problems you had and it sucks to hear that you did but hopefully this new one will be better for ya.

I just ordered a Skyline in Damascus steel. I have the Zing (in orange) which I love and which is similar. The flippers are great.

Just got home and picked them both up as said previously. All seems well and the Skyline locks up great. I quite like the flipping mechanism on the OD-1. It locks up each and every time it's pressed.
