A few years ago I got a great deal from MnBlade on a Chestnut Bone Peanut in CV (thanks again Mark
)
However one way or another I coudn't warm up to the knife which was strange because the 'Nut is almost perfect.
Blades both almnost perfectly centered, rock solid and great walk and talk.
However I couldn't get the blades remotely sharp as my Opinel or Yellow Peanut.
In the past few days I finally succeeded in getting almost as good an edge on it as my yellow Peanut.
So just now I removed and polished all forced patina from it, smoothed the bone handle a bit and I plan on carrying it as my sole knife in an attempt to bond with it like my Yellow 'Nut.
I'll go even as far as putting my Alox Cadet out of my pocket and use only the Peanut.
In honour of the "one knife" threads I'll try and keep on untill spring.
We'll see how it goes
