GL Drew's knives have been some of my favorites since I've started getting into customs, especially his hand forged work. I've purchased one of his knife class knives(one of the best bargain's around) as well as a medium sized bushcraft blade and love them both. I've always admired his large choppers so I sent him a message to see if he had any on the burner or if he would be willing to pound one out for me. He let me know that he didn't have any but he would be willing to make me one when he had the time. He ask me to give him a design and if it wasn't to crazy he would make one up. I searched around and found a knife of his that I liked. I wanted it a bit bigger and he said no problem. Not long later he sent me an email letting me know it was done. This is what he sent me, a BEAST! 15 inches long with a 10 inch blade and weighs 1 pound, 5 oz. This thing is just Awesome! I included pics with the Junglas for size comparison. I love the Junglas but it's just been dropped a level:D Awesome job Gerry! Some pics!

Looks a lot like a Hudson Bay camp knife. Awesome knife and congrats on a beast that will be used and loved!!!!!

I love everything about this one. Excellent execution, great lines, simple and all the elements are complimentary (including the sheath!!!).

Nice one - thanks for posting it!

I have quite a few of Gerry's knives, in fact he was one of the first knife makers I bought from in the US from when I first started buying custom made knives. I have found them to be very good users, always keep a good edge and great value for money
