Gladiator armor or costume needed

Hi All,

I have a fashion shoot next month where I need a gladiator outfit for a male model. Does anyone happen to have something I could borrow for the shoot? It's basically a test shoot, so I can't afford to much money for it, but I'd like it to look pretty good. I'm looking for some armor, helmet, sandals, etc that would look pretty authentic for portfolio pics. I'm using the MANJUSHREE SWORD as a gladuis, so it doesn't have to be completely authentic. I just don't want tin foil armor etc.

I'll also have some harem girls in some of the shots for a little spice.

Also if you have some photos or links to photos, that would be great.

If it doesn't have to be specifically Roman, you could go with the "300" look - a red blanket draped across the shoulders with a clasp or kilt pin. Leather bracers for the arms are easy and cheap to make if you can't find them, and so are greaves. Not sure about where to get men's leather hot pants, tho. You'd still do well to have an appropriate helmet, too.

There are a bucket of different Greek/Roman costumes at this site. Most are cheap enough. They look usable.
