Gladius Mainz

Hi everyone!

First of all, i'm sorry if this is not the right place to post it.
I made my first sword. I've started this last year, but i never had the time to finish it.
This is my version of a Gladius Mainz.
The blade is forged from 5160 steel. The guard and pommel are from guayubira natural wood and brass. The handle is made from a piece of deer antler.
I leave you a few pictures of the process and then of the finished piece.

That's a clean, nicely done piece! Fine work! Got the blade shape just right, and I love how the spine of the blade is reflected in all the handle components straight back to the peened tang.

that looks great. obviously the first sword but not at all the first thing you have made :).
