Glass filled injection molded sheath

I have the Becker necker and I ground down the knife for better cutting without friction from the thickness of the original blade.
Now the knife is loose in the sheath my question is can I heat the sheath and remold it to fit the knife and how should I heat it /or not heat it ...boiling water, heat gun
