Glass Polishing?

I have an off topic question for you all. I need to polish a glass fog light lense I am getting. It has the regular debris covered look you see on a fog light. I want it smooth and clear though. But I dont want to spend $30 or $40 bucks on a polishing kit. So do you guys have anyhome remedy ways to polish glass?

Dremel with a polishing bit will do it.

Just the felt wheel? Any kind of compound with it?

I just use the regular wheels and the red compound that comes with it. It works okay for me.

For my motorcycle stuff, I use the Honda or NOVUS plastic polishing products.

Yeah. Pretty sure. Its a WRX fog light.

glass is a totally different animal from plastic, plastic can be polished by hand since it is relatively soft. I dont know if glass can by polished by hand

If they were glass, one would wonder how they have been hazed.

Last time I had hazed glass auto lights, it turned out being wax. Removed the wax, the lights were back to like-new.

Aren't fog lights supposed to be diffused so that they don't bounce off the fog, blinding you?
