Glass razor?

So, interesting thing today.

I had found a shard of glass from a broken frame that I missed, and was happy I found it before I or someone else sliced themself open with it. While I was taking it over to the trash I remembered how chipped obsidian blades are sharper than any steel blade would ever achieve. So I thought "could I shave with this?" Sure enough, it readily removed facial hair smoothly, and with a bout a 60 degree edge at that. I began to wonder, why are there no glass or ceramic razors? Surely if any implementation could use the properties of glass or ceramic blades and not worry about durability its the task of shaving. A long lasting refillable ceramic or glass razor that wouldn't degrade due to corrosion would be well received by the public, and would be cost efficient.

So then why are there no glass or ceramic razors? Difficulty of manufacture? I think I'd buy one if given the chance.

Glass or obsidian has been used for ultra-fine microsurgery scalpels.

As a household item? What if you dropped it?
