It's been a while since I did a giveaway. In the downtime between projects, I do sometimes get a chance to work on some of my own stuff.

I just finished this one up, but since I already have a Camillus 72 mod of my own, I thought I'd share this with someone else. It started out as this shriveled up 72 scout whittler...

The blades were all pretty decent, with good snap, so I felt this would make a good candidate for a mod. I had this RJB amber, which finishes out really nice.

The blades are not perfect, they have some light use scratches. I did clean them up some, however it will make a great user, I assure you.

I will also draw a second name for this knife, a Camco that I did a while back. It was more of an experiment for me, but I carried it some, and it is a great user. It's more rough than the 72, definitely a user, but a good little knife, I just don't carry it enough.

****Due to the overwhelming response to this giveaway, I am adding a third drawing...It will be a Camco like the second knife, but it has yet to be built. The winner will be able to pick from my available materials and skill set for the knife he/she wants. ****

This giveaway is open to anyone, even if you have some of my work or have won from me in the past. You must be legally able to own either of these knives to win. Simply say "I'm in" to be in, and state if you would like the 72, the Camco, or either one. Also, if you are a former scout, a scout leader, or have a son/daughter in scouts, you can put in for a second chance.

Anyway, thanks for all your support for my work, it means a lot.

Glenn

I am in! It would be amazing to win either one of these! First off I'm a huge fan of Whittlers and have been wanting one of those Camillus's for a while now. The Camco would be great for me as well because I've been eyeing one of those GEC Beer Scout's, but the wife won't give me the green light to pull the trigger and I need a good traditional that has a bottle opener.

Not an entry Glenn, but man those are amazing!

Well done good sir on both the knives and the GAW.

:cool:Glenn, both are amazing but the Camco really appeals to me.

Please count me in:thumbup:

Nice job Glenn.
I'm in for the Camco.
I also have 2 Scouts around here somewhere:)

I really like that scout. I have a big soft spot in my heart for scout knives, especially Camillus. That one looks like a keeper to me.

I'm in.

The cap-lifter also looks quite handy ;)

I'm in and I'm a former scout and my darling (red neck mexican)nephew is joining the scouts this year.
I'll tale either. Great go away and thank you you.

Wow, great job on both of those. That 72 is amazing. I'd love to put in for the 72.

Really, great work as always!

Well, thanks and I'm in. My son was in the scouts and my daughter is currently in the scouts. I'd be proud to own either one. Thanks, man.

I've been thinking about trying a whittler, here is my chance. I'm in Glenn, thank you for the chance.

Very nice Glenn. I'm in primarily for the Camco.
But here's a pic for a second entry. Former Eagle Scout. :D

Super work as usual, Glen!! I would love to own either one!! I could not pick a winner as they both are just gorgeous:thumbup::thumbup:

Not an entry please:D

The Camillus 72 Scout knife is drop-dead gorgeous! I am definitely in, and thank you for the chance.

Would love a shot at the #72!!! Very generous of you Glenn!
