Glitch in the matrix?

Was not able to log in for a few days because of two way authentication through hotmail. Had stopped receiving emails altogether. Tried to go in on computer and see if i could open anything up. Tried to open another account and the authentication email never came through.

Any idea what had happened? Just got hit with about 200 emails haha. Glad to be back!

Same thing happened to me, Hotmail/Outlook isn't receiving any emails from bladeforums.
 
I got an over one hundred old email notifications today from older posts. I suspect that Microsoft was rate limiting emails from Bladeforums for some reason and recently removed that limit and all the queued email were released en mass.

I tried it yesterday, but it didn't work.

-No emails in junk folder both desktop version & phone app of Outlook.
-Mark all emails from bladeforums as not spam, but still can't receive any emails.

Today I got all the emails at once. So I think this might be a technical issue.🤔

yeah I went into my computer and checked to see if something was just wrong with the phone email server or overburdened.
 
Just adding my voice to the mix. I have no solutions yet unfortunately but wanted to "watch" this thread if we figure something out.

I had the exact same problem Friday 10/24 not receiving any emails from BF notifying me of new threads in any watched forums or new posts to watched threads, nothing at all. Then suddenly, the next day, BOOM! I'm loaded with dozens of emails from the site (and of course I missed some good sales I wanted to participate in too!).

Happened again on Saturday 10/25 after receiving all those old notification emails from Friday. Stopped receiving emails altogether then suddenly got a bunch all at once that were many hours old later that day or the next day.

I tried all the tricks listed above but still don't have an answer if this is a Microsoft Outlook problem or a BF problem. Things *seem* to be better now but it'd be nice to know what's happening and where to focus our efforts at preventing this problem in the future.

I switched to another email account after I wasn't getting the MFA emails on my MS email account.
 
I (chopchop) am experiencing the same problem. I couldn’t reset my password bc my MS account is not receiving emails from BF and had to register from a different email as a new account to post this.

Still not getting email with code for two-factor authentication so I can log in on my laptop. And, no, it's not in my spam/junk folder. I was already logged in on my phone, so that's how I'm posting this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

FWIW, I finally got the code . . . 20 minutes after I requested it. Unfortunately it was only good for 15 minutes. 😂

Thx. I finally did "beat the clock" and get logged in on my laptop.

It was weird that it required the code as I was logged in on my laptop yesterday and had checked the box not to ask me again for 30 days. 🤷‍♂️
 
Make sure to get a copy of your backup codes. they let you log in without MFA. They are one use only, so keep a copy in safe location of all them. Consider switching to another email provider as well. So far, I have had to switch from Yahoo, to Outlook, now i'm on Zoho.
