I want the TAD Gear SETsuperhughman said:Hi there,
I have three of the FX ones. Reb, Blue, and White. I love them. I use the white one in my hot tub all of the time. Makes a great underwater light. I also use it as a tent light when backpacking.
The red one hangs from my backpack and flashes when I ride my bike in the dark. It's good and bright, and ensures I don't get run over by a car...always handy.
The blue one is not as bright, but still pretty cool. I usually take it camping too, for a little "mood" lighting in the tent.
They are very durable, very easy to switch the modes, and water proof to like 11000 feet.
Good value as far as I am concerned...

They last so long many people have had things that use them and have never had to replace them...
What are these mystery devices???
Garage door openers and burgler alarms!
A 12 volt BATTERY(not cell) the size(ALMOST exactly) of an N-cell!
They last a long time in THOSE applications...pjenkins000 said:i hear you, i guess i mean mostly for people who are worried about standardizing their batteries so they use only aa batteries and the like. also sometimes people talk about in a survival situation that it would be much easier to find aa batteries than 123s. if they last a long time (which it sounds like they do) it doesn't seem like it's a huge issue.
