Glock 78 knife inquiry

It is well known that there is no current US distribution. However, the "knife" is supposed to be available through dealers in Poland and Greece.

My speculation is that there might be a distribution dispute which causes the knife not to be imported into the US although the "knife" is still in production in Austria.

Does anyone have actual factual information on:
1. whether the Austrian knife is still being produced;
2. whether (meaning you, and not your "friend") has a reputable Polish dealer who is selling the actual Glock 78 knife being produced in Austria.

When I read sale offers on brand name knives from Bulgaria or Russia and the knives are not produced in those countries, I know that they are scams.

Thank you in advance.

I took a chance and purchased a Glock 78 from an auction site dealer located in Poland in 2017. Went without a hitch, took maybe a week, but certainly less than 2 to arrive. This same dealer is still offering them today.

I bought one from a guy in Poland off of EB late last yr.

It didn't show up for over a month, filed a claim and got a refund from EB. It finally showed up 3 months later! Didn't want to stiff him so I messaged the guy and sent him the $ for it via Paypal.

It was a PITA but I wanted the 78 because I preferred the plain blade w/o the saw on the spine.

Paid about $58 (including shipping for mine) but looks like he's asking $116 (including $80 shipping) for them now and has actually sold 5 (at this time) at that price. So, the value of my 78 has apparently gone up 100% since I bought mine. LOL!

I bought them this week in Belgium. Actually several of the Glock FM 78's .
They are still in production. And I like them a lot. They were out of stock a while at that particular shop ( for whatever reason, something about the steel production). But now they were back.
There are plenty of webshops in Europe that sell them, the FM 78 and the FM 81.
