I would imagine that some of you folks here are interested in guns as well as Sebenzas.

One of my favorite handguns is the Glock G21SF. Mine had an extreme grip reduction done by Bore Sight Solutions. I purchased it used and it had fingergrooves. After shooting it several times, I felt that the grooves didn't line up with my hand shape. After deciding that I could manage reshaping the grip myself, I extrapolated the Glock stippled effect and came up with a Sebenza stippled scale. The texture is very aggressive and would make for a very good work/tactical knife.

Here are several pictures that takes you from my G21SF retexturing to the Sebenza handle job.

Sebenzas RULE!!

That's pretty awesome. How is it going into and coming out of the pocket? Definitely a must have for any Sebenza/Glock EDCer.

Very Nice, Yet Another Barry H Masterpiece. The blade on the sebbie looks to be bead blasted also, a very cool look.

Holy moly! Nice work, indeed.

What is the scale material?
Tell more about the process, please.

Always impressed with your work Barry. I really like the look. I also would like to know how it carries. How abrasive is it on the pockets?

in the last picture, it looks like something is in the lockbar cutout, what's that?

The blow up is out of focus, but I guess I'm not seeing anything out of the ordinary. What exactly do you think you are seeing?

So far so good, its a little more aggressive than Strider Ranger Green G-10, which, for a work knife, is a good thing:D

I fused a piece of similar plastic found on a Glock to a piece of G-10 and then stippled the surface. There are Youtube vids of this process, better than I can explain;)

The lock side has been heat treated, plus 8 plus years of hard use probably is showing dirt or lint build up:D

oh sorry nevermind. i think it's an optical illusion. it kind of looks like there's two grooves popping out, instead of two indentations.

Very nice!

Glock and Sebenza combo. Can't go wrong.

I sport the RTF G17 and large classic myself.

I'm not very handy with my hands or tools though so no cool looking mods like that.
