Glock Knives. That's right.

Straight from the horse's mouth Glock makes knives. From what I've seen their fixed blades look really cool and very simple looking. Very reminiscent of bayonets and combat knives. Anyone have any experience with them? I'd like to buy one and I'm just wondering if anyone has had the pleasure or displeasure of owning one.

Glock has been making knives for a little while now (not sure exactly how long). They're pretty cheap, and the steel is very soft IIRC. Fun to throw around and beat on, they won't likely chip or snap because of how soft they are. I wouldn't use one for actual cutting tasks.

I've got one of their knives. For a military style fixed blade it's really not bad. It's easy to keep razor sharp, it's lightweight and comes in a rather practical sheath.
What's not to like?

I have the FM81 in tan with the saw back. I have had it about 4-5years. I will say it is a pretty badass knife. Saw blade works really good...I have split wood with it.....gets razor sharp....it can chop but not the greatest....AND ITS A THROWING KNIFE!!!!! Sheath is really good design...locks well and easy to unlock knife...has a hole in the bottom to drain water. Think I paid like mid 20's for it. I say buy it. you will like it.

Neither my favorite nor the first knife I'd grab in a jam, I still like mine very much. Well worth the small asking price.

Mine now lives happily in the trunk of my car.

Glock has been making knives longer than they have been making guns.

Carried one in my ruck since 1984 until I retired from the Army. Put mine through hell. Their cost/price has gone up a whopping $5-$6 since then.

There was a GLOCK knife at BLADE this year for around $14,000.00. For real.

I have a Glock knife that I am very happy with. The sheath is so good they decided to make a pistol frame out of it!!!

Had one in Infantry basic in 1983. The sheath was rugged and wouldn't fall apart. You could hang it upside down on your field suspenders and trust it to stay there, unlike all the others we found for our buddies when they realized it fell out. Performs well for what it is, a sharpened prybar that was an issue Austrian Army bayonet.

They had been on the market for years before that. One of Glock's first military projects outside the main business of cabinet hardware, they are a 35 year old design.

I love my Glock guns. Be the first ones I grab when shtf. Just a reliable tank of a gun. Eats everything and never jams (knock on wood)
Never tried their knives though.

I had a Glock 78 a few years back: was not impressed at all. Did not keep it.

My M81 went through hell in the bush across much of Asia and the South Pacific. If I were doing it all over, I'd take it again.

I've had my eye on their field knives forever, but haven't got around to getting one. The steel isn't too shabby for harder use. What exactly is it ? They advertise it as HRC55, which conveys the hardness. They'd make good BOB, or vehicle knives, if Moras aren't your thing. Though they are a bit more expensive.
