I'm in the market for a pair of good gloves. The main thing I need is a poke proof material. Like, if I were to reach into a pile of used needles with these gloves on, I wouldn't need to be afraid of getting stabbed with a dirty needle. What material gloves should I buy? I'm willing to spend around 50 bucks for the pair. I want to spend as little as possible though. Thanks.

EDIT: Water proof is a big big plus.

I'd think that if a needle stick was a realistic possibility, there would not be any amount of money you wouldn't be willing to spend in order to save your own life...

I have been mulling over this response since you posted that you only have $30.00 to spend. I don't know much about gloves, but like the previous post, if your quality of life is in jeopardy based upon your line of work or whatever you had better save up and get something quality. I don't like to post negative things or sound like a jerk but at that price point you will not have the quality you require. My vote would be to save up, do some good research and get the best you can afford.

Good luck.
