I want a tritium (sp?) ((the same thing in my glock night sights)) ball, or plug, or whatever, put into the tool hole in my classic sebbie. Yes, I want it to glow in the dark when I go trick-or-treating :) or when I am groping around in the dark. Is this doable?

That sounds like a great idea, I'd like one of those too.

I have a tritium tube in the back spacer of my Military and have thought about putting one in my Sebenza.I just haven't figured out a good way to do it.
Heres a pic of the Military

I had images of sebbies dipped in hideous luminous paint for a minute! Good job on the Military, it looks very classy!

once you install the radioactive dots in your sebbie, i wonder if they are still under warranty? Another dumb question, but if its dark enough to warrent glow in the dark, how would you see what your cutting?

The idea is not to see what you are cutting but rather a reference point for location of the knife in the dark. Cool installation on the Millie. The tool hole seems like a natural for this kind of insert.

godot,
Those are bad! Do you think it's safe to have something radioactive that close to your boys? I carry my Sebbie in my rt front pocket. Would be cool to have a visual reference to find it on the night stand although it could cause confusion with my heater since it is already tritium equipped. :D

Don't worry about it.Tritium is a Beta producer. It will not even pass through a piece of paper much less the class viel it is incased in.

The tritium thumbstud sounds cool. I guess we will not hear from CRK on this matter but I hope they are listening.

naw, a sebenza is to classy of a knife for tritium anything. I think tritium is best saved for anything with a black blade and a black handle.

Been seeing a good number of questions being brought up as to this, seems some Police officers who have carried guns with night sights have developed problems in the areas near the holster or right at the holsters. Don't know any of this to be true or substantiated just saying, I seen it in print :)

The tritium is a good idea but I have a cheaper alternative: glow-in-the-dark cord from Triple Aught Design Gear. I use the cords on my flashlights and they help me locate them in the dark. The cords are phosphorescent, not radioactive, thus loses their brightness during the night, but seem to retain enough light in very dark areas.

OK, so maybe the major players, CRK, Spydie, BM, etc. have avoided this "no-brainer" simply because of fear of radioactive fallout not to mention customer litigation fallout. I see the light and it aint phosphorescent.
