Glow in the dark

What's up fellow Spydie-addicts?

Recently I picked up the new glow in the dark delica and I love it! It is maybe one of the coolest option for handle materials, especially in frn.

I had to swap the vg10 blade for a new knifejoy Damascus one and the combo is perfect!

What other models would you like to see in glow frn?

I would go absolutely nuts for a ladybug in glow frn!

What are your thoughts on the glow delica??
 
So the scales will glow for as long as I want in the dark or just for a tiny short period? I kind of agree with the poster above.
 
I'm a sucka for GITD stuff. I even have GITD para cord.
Hope to see the Endura in GITD scales.:thumbsup:

After my time I'm afraid. I think I was about forty when I saw some toddler running around with flashy feet.
 
I have one of the EDC Forums Manix XL with GID scales. It is pretty cool.

The glow lasts a while. You can find your pants in a dark room in the middle of the night if you find yourself looking for pants in a dark room.

I went so far as to buy a backup for when I wear the first one out. I'll take a SE Police LW with GITD FRN please.

As far as the glow lasting, do you mean overall lifetime or in general it glows for awhile after being charged?

I just think it's fun to look down in a dark room and see my knife in my pocket. It's the simple things!

Given that this Delica seemed to sell out in no time flat, it would seem to make sense that other GITD variants will follow.

Here's hoping, anyway, I would like an Endura to match for sure.

Yeah the glow seems to last most of the night. Intense at first and then dim but still visible. I'm sure eventually UV will kill the glow but I suspect it would take a very long time.

Looks great! Glad I trusted my instinct on this one and snagged one!
 
Nice to see them making some different variations, obviously not for everyone, but that goes for many Spyderco knives. Kudos to Spyderco for being gutsy enough to try different things.

I love mine and bought some backups the give my son's when they are older. I'll buy pretty much any of the Seki models in GITD FRN. Keep em coming! Jester and Dragonfly next please!
