I was wondering if anyone had one of these. I have been thinking about getting one, just for the novelty of the glow in the dark handle scales. Anyone have one of these SAK's? TIA for your responses!

Yep I have one! It's really cool, glows bright as hell for about 2hours if you put it up to a blacklight, and will glow for 6-7 hours total. Other trhan that, it's a SAK.:D Oh yeah I got it from a feline recuse center on Ebay, so that made it cooler.

Coooooool!! I have a SAK that I have had for 20 something years. I have only seen 1 version of the glow in the dark SAK, is there more than 1 version? Just curious. THANKS!!

Central Valley Wholesale Knives, SOSAK vendor, has these Stayglow models:

Cybertool
Handyman
Classic
Climber (I have one of these glow bugs. Excellent glow. Scales are rough.)

Best,

Anyone know a good place online to buy one? That you guys have had a good exeprience with?

I've got one of the little Classics. The glow scales are just a novelty really, but how can you so no to a glow in the dark SAK? Hell, I have trouble saying no to an SAK that doesn't glow... and make it all bright and shiny.

I'm thinking about getting one of the Climbers too... I've been left pocket EDC'ing my Climber a bit lately and that knife is growing on me.

I know it is hard to say no to any SAK!! I am going to get a glow in the dark SAK! Thanks for all the replies!

Victorinox has hold made a very few models with the Stay-Glow scales, but those should be available through any of the sources mentioned. My personal favorites are FelineVet (Tim) and Central Valley Wholesale Knives (Rich). The only place I've ever found the 91mm Stay-Glow scales available separately is from Central Valley.

My nightstand knife is a discontinued Woodsman that I fitted with Stay-Glow scales from Rich.

The Stayglow scales are very good. Even if you don't need them to glow in the dark they have a good texture and should last well.

I've got the Huntsman, Climber and Classic in Stayglow, think Vic do the Tinker as well (these are available here in the UK) but as has been said you can put the scales on which knife you like best.

You can buy without any fear from the dealers on KF's SOSAK, or go to www.sosakonline.com Great guys.

Go get some, you won't be sorry.
