Glue to put on a clip

Ok I ain't gonna drill and tap this Hall any time soon. So I figure why not just glue a clip on to it. Well tried Super Glue and it won't hold. So suggestions as to what will work? thanks and keepem sharp

I'd say to use an epoxy, maybe JB weld?

Glue won't hold. Use a mechanical fastener.
