Hey guys. I've had my iPhone 4 for a while now. It's running 4.2.6 and is jailbroken with greenpois0n 6.1. I just noticed this morning that my phone isn't pushing my gmail inbox anymore. I have it setup as an exchange account and it's worked flawlessly until this morning. Every setting in gmail (online) is correct, i setup the account correct on my iphone and i havent made any changes to my phone in the last few days. Like i said, it worked until this morning. Now what's weird is it works when i manually go into the account, or when switching from 3g to wifi. Not an issue with the wireless network either, i've reset that. I even went as far as restoring and setting up my iphone as a new iphone (didn't restore from backup). Still the issue. My home network has been reset. I also did test emails on just 3g. But when switching from one to another the mail comes through. What could the issue be!? I've read online of others having the issue, but it's a sparse issue that's come up within the last few weeks and i cant find much info on it. has anyone else here had this issue?

Check HowardForums in their iPhone section and you should get your questions answered there quite quickly.

Ya I've seen some things with mine as well. Takes forever to load new mail. Will even check and come back with no new messages. Check the computer. They are there. Weird. Get them eventually though.

Yeah, I had a problem checking gmail this afternoon on my 3gs. Seems to be working fine now though. But when I did just check it, I was using the Wi-Fi network in my apartment, and not the 3g network, so I dunno if that made a difference.

Yeah I tell people if email is your main priority, get a BlackBerry. Neither my 3G or 4 is quick at retrieving email.

I said screw it and switched back to my yahoo account. I switched to gmail because yahoo wouldnt push on my palm phone, but now apple supports push for yahoo soo.

LOL. I've set up about 5 or 6 accounts on my iPhone including my Gmail and Rogers Yahoo accounts. It was a PITA and one or two of them I still can't email from on the phone, only receive.

It's setup via exchange. I can't setup ports. I can manually configure yahoo and gmail in outlook. The account is weird.
