After all the crap I've had to deal with, between back issues, injuries, etc., it has been a real struggle to keep on the knife path and keep FK going. For the past 7 or 8 months it has been a rough balance to maintain the business. Well my friends... that is all about to change. Fletcher Knives is about to go big time. No more of these smaller batches constantly playing catch-up. Now is the push. Starting next week, Fletcher Knives is getting its second wind, and let me assure you, it's a wind of hurricane proportions.
Beginning soon, you'll start seeing WIP pictures, action happening, big batches being built, FUN STUFF FOR ALL AGES. It's going to get much bigger, and much better real quick. So check this forum and your email often. Things are going to get crazy around here. I'm talking huge knives, new models, strange animal noises, the works!!
Also, there's going to be some changes to how knives are sold. The email list and dibs lists aren't going to be able to contain the kind of volume that's about to happen. I'm working with some people to devise new ways for customers to get knives as they're built. Not having to wait for a long time and hope one becomes available here and there. All of those who have dibs on knives, DON'T WORRY. Your knives are still going to be built and you'll still have first crack at them. However, don't be surprised if you see the dibs list shut down to new dibs soon. That's right! Dibs list goin' BYE BYE!! Trust me, everything will be just fine. Pretty soon, entire runs of knives will be done in just one or two batches. New models will constantly be coming out. IT"S GOING TO BE KNIFE ANARCHY!!!!!!!!!
The fact of the matter is, that if Fletcher Knives keeps going this way with dibs lists and 12 month waits for knives, the people who will ultimately be missing out our my customers. It's time to break through to the other side people! Keep checking back here. You guys are going to start seeing craziness VERY SOON!
